To honor the Immaculate Mother of God, the parishioners of St Ambrose in Delton have completed a Rosary Garden. It will serve as a scenic place to pray or sing the Rosary, or just a beautiful spot to rest and talk with the Blessed Virgin Mary. The site has ~200 ft of gravel path dotted with hexagon paver “beads” to form a rosary. It also has a patio with benches and a near life-size statue of Mary. The garden, located behind the Church Office, is flanked by mature trees and will be great for the hostas and coral bells that love dappled shade. Most of the plantings are cuttings from parishioners’ gardens – a lovely way of connecting our own homes to this sacred space. Donations of time, talent, and treasure have fully paid for the beautiful Rosary Garden, which was dedicated and blessed by Fr. Harold Potter before the Vigil Mass celebrating the Feast of the Assumption of Mary in 2025.
